Endorsed: Elliston to Mrs. Garrick Good. The alterations of his new theatre have demanded his constant attention. He has bought a small house in Surrey where he lives like Diogenes in his tub. He is contemplating reviving Garrick's Jubilee. He borrowed the manuscript from Bath, and it has not been lost. His bookseller says it has never been printed. Does she have a copy of it? He means to produce it in a style worthy of its subject and author.
